This shortcode allow to rate the news items

Download it here

Instructions:

Put this file in your current theme folder
Edit your theme.php and insert a line that contains:
1. $register_sc[] = 'RATENEWS';
In your news_style put the (RATENEWS) shortcode where you want to display the rating.
Thats all.

Teamcolta and The Dude have startup an e107 theming site. With hundreds of great themes you can start your e107 site with your favourite theme.
e107 start at the moment a new generation of coders and themers (the only thing that e107 needs) to take your site as a pro site.

Usefull tool: MOD Inspector

I find this tool on the web, and I adapted to use it on e107.

The DOM Inspector, or MODI for short, is a favelet (also known as a bookmarklet) that allows you to view and manipulate the DOM of a web page simply by mousing around the document.

Browsers currently supported are Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape 8, Opera 7.5+ and MSIE6+ on all of their respective Operating Systems.

To begin using the DOM Inpsector, simply add the following link to your bookmarks by right clicking and selecting "Add to Favorites" or "Bookmark this Link" or whatever the nomanclature of your browser of choice.

You can try to view some videos in this site link (e107tube.aureea.com).

If you want to help to detect some possible errors in this project, you can collaborate by viewing, rating and commenting the videos.

If you find any error, report it to the forum.

When this project will be free of errors, it will be released. The release will have templates, plugins, hacks, and instructions.

This is a video site, powered by e107 v 0.7.7 (in spanish)

The videos are in the zziveos menu.

All the videos was configured using the Content Manager plugin,
I don't hack the plugin, just I rewrite the content templates. The only thing that I hack/Modified is a shortcut in the content_shortcodes.php file in the content manager plugin to manage the FLV filename.

And I write a plugin that set the flvplayer.
The videos are in FLV format, I install FFMPEG to make the thumbnails.

e107 themes in HTML file, without PHP

To all people that don't understand as well the PHP language, this plugin allow to this people to design their custom theme in an HTML file.

Just open Dreamweaver or any html editor, and design your theme. Do this without php design. PHP is confused if you don't known PHP.

The only thing to have to do, is set 4 or 5 variables in the theme.php file, and then your e107 theme is ready to go.

See some examples in action.

To download this plugin, go to the downloads section, you must have to register to download the files.

Please read all the readme file that it's include in the plugin.

Note: This themes not render the CUSTOMTHEME. You need to download the must recent version.
